Mandatory Skills
- Performs standard accounting duties with moderate supervision.
- Ensuring the accuracy & integrity of monthly financials, continue to achieve the financial month end deadlines.
- Prepare periodic financial performance reports highlighting actuals Vs forecast status for all key financial metrics for the function.
- Taking ownership of the financial process for function & making improvements in the process.
- Improving financial status by analyzing results & variances, identifying trends, recommending actions.
- Compliance with SOX for the activities performed.
- Assist with periodic planning & budgeting process.
- Monthly rolling forecast.
- Work closely with internal customers & business partners to proactively identify issues impacting financials & supporting them with decision making & ensuring service delivery.
- Provides analytics support to business initiatives.
- Ensuring monthly financial metrics to business stakeholders & understanding from them the business requirements to help financial forecasting.
- Basic understanding of accounting process
- Strong knowledge on financial statements i.e. Income statement, Balance sheet.
- Demonstrates competence, experience, knowledge and understanding of key financial / operational metrics
- Strong in logical reasoning.
- Ability to effectively interact with peers, subject matter leads and other internal/external stakeholders.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to quickly digest information and understand the business
- Knowledge on MS office application (Excel, word)
